I am a Senior
Research Scientist at
Sony AI working on the Gaming
flagship project. For details, take a look at the GT Sophy
website
and the associated Nature journal
paper.
I completed my Ph.D. degree in the Computer Science Department at
Georgia Tech in the Robotics and Intelligent Machines Lab with
Prof. Charles Isbell
and
Prof. Andrea
Thomaz (now at University of Texas at Austin).
Prior to Georgia Tech, I completed my Masters degree in the ECE
Department at Rutgers University where I worked with
Prof. Michael
Littman in the Real Life Reinforcement Learning Laboratory (
RL3).
My research interests are in reinforcement learning, deep learning
and interactive systems. My primary area of focus has been on
exploration strategies and integrating learning methods with
information from humans. I have had experience in applying my
methods to both virtual agents and robotic systems.
